All in this life or all in the hereafter

I seek refuge by Allah from Shaitan
bismilllahi al Rahman al Rahim

وَمَا أُوتِيتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَمَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتُهَا ۚ وَمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ {60}

[Shakir 28:60] And whatever things you have been given are only a provision of this world's life and its adornment, and whatever is with Allah is better and more lasting; do you not then understand?
[Yusufali 28:60] The (material) things which ye are given are but the conveniences of this life and the glitter thereof; but that which is with Allah is better and more enduring: will ye not then be wise?
أَفَمَنْ وَعَدْنَاهُ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ لَاقِيهِ كَمَنْ مَتَّعْنَاهُ مَتَاعَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ هُوَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنَ الْمُحْضَرِينَ {61}
[Shakir 28:61] Is he to whom We have promised a goodly promise which he shall meet with like him whom We have provided with the provisions of this world's life, then on the day of resurrection he shall be of those who are brought up?
[Yusufali 28:61] Are (these two) alike?- one to whom We have made a goodly promise, and who is going to reach its (fulfilment), and one to whom We have given the good things of this life, but who, on the Day of Judgment, is to be among those brought up (for punishment)?

What we have been told and warned so many times in the Quran and Hadith of Rasulullah SAW is that this "dunya" or this world as we know it is temporary. Not only it is temporary by nature, it is also in fact limited, bounded by space and time, and most of all everything in this world will get destroyed. However, we know most if not close to all of us including myself is immersed in this worldly matters at most of our time. Let us pray Allah guides us to be among the people who understand.
